Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren

A few days ago, Ralph Lauren‘s extensive portfolio was enriched with another new line, Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren. It was the retro style which inspired the designers of the American brand to create this collection.

Vintage, which is still relevant for designers, has gained a new life in a younger and fresher interpretation. Stylish teen images do attract people’s attention (the collection will surely be appreciated by the fans of American casual clothes and multi-layer ensembles), but one can also easily recognize the details of Denim & Supply models which are common to most Ralph Lauren collections. First of all, these are well-placed accents of leather and denim.

But the prices for Denim & Supply clothing, unlike that for most Ralph Lauren collections are more than democratic and range from 40 to 300 dollars. For example, the majority of jeans models can be bought for less than $100.

Max Mara Studio FW 2011-2012

Frida Gustavsson and Kinga Rajzak have participated in the shooting for the MaxMara Studio fall-winter 2011-2012 advertising campaign.

The promo sample includes the hit five colors: black, gray, white, brown and red, and the constant base of the modern woman’s wardrobe: a turtleneck, a pencil skirt, tight pants, a trench coat, a romantic blouse with a bow, and a black cardigan.

Max Mara clothing is subtle, stylish, comfortable, and very warm even for the cold season.

Vera Wang Launches a Wedding Ring Collection

Vera Wang is one of the few brands whose collections of wedding gowns are awaited by the fashion lovers even more impatiently than pret-a-porte collections: even Hollywood stars get married in the luxurious wedding gowns created by the designer Vera Wang.

In the near future, wedding gowns by Vera Wang will be complemented by the appropriate engagement and wedding rings: the designer prepares for the release of her first collection of wedding rings in collaboration with the American Zales brand, and the beginning of the sales is scheduled for October.
A collection of engagement and wedding rings by Vera Wang will be more than large – in total, it will include about 50 rings. Their diverse design will be united by only one detail, a blue sapphire which is a symbol of eternal love. The prices for jewelry will start from $649 for a wedding ring and $1999 for an engagement ring.

Roberto Cavalli FW 2011-2012

Closer and closer to nature – that is the motto that Roberto Cavalli seems to use while creating his collections. During the fall-winter 2011-2012, Roberto Cavalli’s lookbook is dominated by the colors and patterns of flora and fauna, tropical in particular.

in addition to clothing, Roberto Cavalli’s lookbook contains some very interesting accessories – such as a fur handbag suiting the color of a coat, scarves and even sunglasses. Bathing suits with animal prints seem to be quite an unexpected part of the collection for the cold season.
Aymeline Valade and Olga Sherer pose for the lookbook.

Louis Vuitton Island Mainson

Louis Vuitton is getting ready to surprise and astonish its clients with a grand shopping concept – the Louis Vuitton Maison store, designed for the fashion house by recognized architect Peter Marino. It will be the twelfth maison in the world and the first located in Southeast Asia, in Singapore.

LV’s Maison is going to be an island, literally sitting on water, with storey-high windows giving out on the bay. It will have a private lounge, an outdoor loggia, and a tunnel that will house an art gallery of paintings and objets d’art by contemporary masters. It connects the island with the Marina Bay Sands.

The Louis Vuitton Island adds nicely to the company’s 459 stores in 63 countries. Its launching is set for September 18.

London Is the Fashion Capital of the World

According to the results of the new study conducted by the American Global Language Monitor analytical group, London unexpectedly became the fashion capital of the world number one, ahead of New York that had been holding the honorary title for three years.

Of course, London has been “brought” to the top of Fashion Olympus by Kate Middleton and Alexander McQueen fashion house, whose designers have created a wedding dress for the new British princess.
Apart from London, the three leading cities include New York, which is a runner-up, and Paris. The first dozen of fashion capitals of the world also includes Milan (the fourth place), Los Angeles (the fifth place), Berlin and Singapore which has won the title of the “fashion capital” for the first time over the previous eight years of annual surveys.

Giambattista Valli for Macy’s

No sooner had Macy’s stores presented a collection by Karl Lagerfeld on sale, the brand immediately announced the next project – another collection for the retailer is being created by the well-known designer Giambattista Valli who has successfully introduced the first haute couture collection in Paris recently.

Valli, whose name has already become a synonym for expensive and luxurious evening gowns, will attract the fashion-lovers with a collection of festive ensembles. Since the beginning of sales of the collection is scheduled for October 26, exquisite evening and cocktail dresses created by the designer will be perfectly relevant before Christmas holidays.

Valli’s collection for Macy’s surely has a place for all the details that traditionally form the basis of the designer’s works: exquisite lace and brocade, artificial fur, bright prints and bold color schemes. And the variety of cocktail dresses, skirts, tops, jackets and pants will cost from $50 to $150.

Hello Kitty and Swarovski Accessories

Swarovski made a plunge into the Hello Kitty theme – with the collaboration from Sanrio – and came up with a range of accessories all done over in crystals, stuff like necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, purses and charms. They are decorated with every imaginable cute symbol – stars, bows, apples, flowers.

The collection is crowned with a Hello Kitty figurine hand-adorned with 20,000 crystals done in the Pointiage technique. There are only 88 Hello Kitty Limited Edition 2011 effigies, so you’ll have to hurry if you want to grab one!

Louis Vuitton Is Most Popular in September 2011

The luxury Louis Vuitton brand still outnumbers other brands on the covers of glossy fashion magazines in September. Of course, it is unlikely to beat a record of clothes from the summer collection of Prada dresses which had been represented on 77 covers during the summer. But the images of Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2011-12 collection seem to be recognized as relevant by the editors this September.

The images of the 1960-s and the 1940-s as well as this sweet cap are prevailing. The dresses from Louis Vuitton have been praised on the covers by the editors of Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, and Vogue from different countries.

Gwyneth Paltrow was dressed in a Louis Vuitton for American Elle:
