Ex-Pat Randy Moss wants back in game

The list of 2012 free agent wide receivers has some pretty significant names, including Reggie Wayne, Vincent Jackson, Brandon Lloyd, Marques Colston and Pierre Garcon.
Yesterday, it added one more gem: Randy Moss.

Last year, with offers reportedly on the table from several teams, Moss, who set the NFL record for most touchdown catches in a season (23) while with the Patriots [team stats] in 2007, decided to retire.

Now, Moss wants back. Yesterday, on his 35th birthday, he announced on a webchat that he’s planning to return to the game.

But will he have any takers? Will the Pats have any interest in bringing him back?
When Moss checked out of football last year, he openly stated his desire to return to the Patriots. He even visited with Robert Kraft after the owner’s wife, Myra, died last summer.

The return of Josh McDaniels, the Patriots offensive coordinator in 2007, also adds to the equation.
